High Visibility Patrols on Market St

Today, our neighbourhood officers based at the Town Hall participated in their daily foot patrols, conducting beat sweeps along their assigned areas. 

Officers for the Commercial District, which covers the Arndale Centre and Market Street, visited Holland & Barrett after they reported an incident of shoplifting yesterday. Whilst in store, 3 further offences of shoplifting involving the same suspect over the past 3 months were reported. As a result, our neighbourhood officers have began an investigation into the theft of nearly £800.00 of stolen items involving this prolific shoplifter. A request has been made to recover CCTV footage that will assist officers in identifying this shoplifter and seeking a positive outcome for Holland & Barrett.
